Sizing Guides
The Connelly DV8 waterski is the flagship model of the Connelly range and arguably the most customisable ski on the planet, thanks to VersaTail technology allowing a new dimension of fine tuning to waterskis. Adjustable tail designs, from a traditional Connelly (VT) tail to square (VS) and rounded (VR) tail designs mean you can adjust the ski to sit lower in the water, or carry more speed dependant on your preference and style. With a CNC cut PVC Core, every ski core is the same, maintaining low density and Connelly's signature light weight, giving increased performance and power. With their profiling technology, the ski sit deeper through turns reducing the chance of skipping in the tail, while the new 45 degree edge bevel generates greater hold for less blowouts. disrupting water flow is key to making skiing faster and smoother, the Speed V-tech on the base of the DV8, allows for maximum disruption in the centre of the concave and less on the edges, meaning plenty of hold on edge and effortless changes in transition. To finish this all off it's handmade in America because Merica' and everything from Merica' is better.

  • Continuous Rocker - Through the tip and tail allows the ski to always provide a constant level of speed across the wash and allows for a smooth comfortable turn, drive through the wash, while still having the ability to easily keep that speed into your leading edge
  • Increased Rockerline - Mostly in the tip and tail, allows the DV8 to move from edge to edge with considerable ease

  • Flex Rating(1=Soft, 10=Stiff) - 8/10
  • An altered flex pattern bucks the trend and makes the ski softer, working with the overall design of the ski to increase performance

  • PVC CNC'd Core - A tried and true core material, cut to utter perfection that has proved itself on the top end ski's for years, a high quality material that is lighter and stiffer than it's PU counterpart creating greater feel and response in your ski.

  • 90/10 Carbon/Fibreglass Split - A traditional carbon laminate blended with just a splash of fibreglass, engineered specifically so you get all that response and zip out of your ski, while getting that little hint of flex when you need it, creating tight turns and fast line breaks across the wash. Not to mention it outlasts carbon. Yeah, science b#*@h

  • Variable Bevel - A sharper bevel through to the front binding of the ski that transitions to a round bevel in the tail, allows to provide lift and speed in the tip across the wash, while the tail provides suction for tight turns for the apex of your cut or around the buoy
  • C.A.P.T. (Connelly Advanced Profile Technology) - The original profiled construction, allowing skis to reduce weight and specifically tailor a flex pattern to various points in the ski

  • Full Edge to Edge Concave - a full concave throughout the whole width of the ski, creates a fluid motion and greatly supports your cut, giving you the ability to solely focus on where you want to place the ski
  • Speed V-Tech - V Tech built for speed, with curves in the v steps, creating increased water disruption in the centre of the runnel and less on the edges, meaning reduced drag and greater edge hold
  • Wider Tunnel - A more stable profile with a slight flat spot between the tunnela dnt eh edge bevel, allows for a greater volume of water flow that also acts to displace more water and increase speed

Other Features:

  • Versa Tail - The patent pending feature that is the centrepiece of the DV8, an adjustable tail. This change in tail geometry allows you to change your ski based on your style.
    • VT Tail - The stock Connelly tail shape, designed to give a balanced tail depth across the wash and into turns
    • VS Tail - A square tail shape, designed to add lift and support, as well as increasing ski speed
    • VR Tail - The round tail shape, allows the ski to sit deeper in the water into and through the turn, giving faster turning and less tail blowouts
  • Hybrid Base - A polished tip and a micro textured tail, blending and working together to provide speed across the wash and reduce resistance in turns
  • Viper 2.0 Fin System
  • Made in the USA, cause Merica'
