Product Info

The Radar Butter Knife, based off the same idea as the Katana and designed to take free skiing to the next level, it features a host of tech produced by Radar to make skiing as easy and enjoyable as possible. The foundation of the Butter Knife is the BentVee sidecut design placing the skier in the sweet spot of the ski while still providing a nice stable platform, but combine this with a 1.5″ Tunnel Flat spot in the concave and a grooved base design, and the Butter Knife retains plenty of control. This is finished off with a classic touch from Radar, making use of their Machined PU Aerocore and carbon enhanced fibreglass, the Butter Knife is one of the easiest and most forgiving ski’s available

Key Features

  • Broader Flat Spot – An increased flat spot from the tip off your front foot to the end of your back provides the ultimate stability, you’ll never feel off balance or uncomfortable on a ski. And if you find yourself sitting to far back on a cut it will automatically pivot you back to centre Ever
  • Subtle Continuous Rocker – just enough rocker to give you all the confidence to cut for your life, complimenting the increased flat spot

  • Flex Rating(1=Soft, 10=Stiff) – 5/10

  • PU Core – The most well known of core to waterski’s, it is a durable, slightly softer material meaning you can ski for longer and not feel as tired, while also getting more flex into turns and less rebound when crossing the wash
  • Paulownia Wood Stringers – A softening material added to the core, allowing the ski to flex more through your turns and giving a more fluid and forgiving feel to the way you ski

  • Spread Toe Carbon – A traditional carbon laminate layer that is tried and proven, adds a snappy element to your ski, driving response through your cut and turns

  • Bent Vee Techology – The ultimate turning tech for a wider body ski, a 2 point sidecut, creates a pivot point in the centre of the ski, allowing for easy turning on a wider profile ski even at higher speeds
  • Widest Body Design – It doesn’t get much more stable. With stability under your feet, the widest profile on the market will help any beginner start out and get their technique down pat.

  • 1.5″ Flat Spot – A 1.5″ channel in the centre of the ski, allows for directed water flow, creating stability and an ease to pivot into your leading edge at slower speeds
  • Grooved Rails – Making sure you can get on edge and hold it once there, acting like a wakeboard rail you won’t have to worry about the ski bucking you off
