Description

The Connelly C1 waterski is the flagship model and the culmination of countless hours of testing, feedback, modifications and developments to create a ski that will hold up to all the rigours of course skiing and bring out your personal best. Continuing the history of weight reduction, the C1 features a CNC-cut PVC Core, making every ski core the same while maintaining a low-density, lightweight ski that Connelly is known for, ultimately giving you increased performance and power. The big difference in the performance from the C1's predecessors is its profiling and rail height. With added tip and tunnel width, the C1 now carries more speed across the wash but allows it to pull tighter in the turn for a more controlled pivot around the buoy/turn, while the rail height allows for hold and power when on edge. Disrupting water flow is critical to making skiing faster and smoother; the Speed V-tech on the base of the C1 allows maximum disruption in the centre of the concave and less on the edges, meaning plenty of hold on edge and effortless changes in transition. The C1 is also  arguably the most customisable ski on the planet, thanks to VersaTail technology, allowing a new dimension of fine-tuning to waterskis. Adjustable tail designs, from a traditional Connelly (VT) tail to square (VS) and rounded (VR) tail designs, meaning you can adjust the ski to sit lower in the water or carry more speed depending on your preference and style.

The Connelly Tempest is the boot built for performance but designed for comfort to maximise everything you could ever want in a ski boot. With a lycra toe and heel wrap, the Tempest provides a snug fit, but combine it with the plush EVA footbed, and you get a complete and comfortable package around your foot. Connelly produced their signature superlight baseplate to reduce weight so that you can maximise your performance with less weight underneath your foot.

Waterski Features

Rocker

  • Continuous Rocker - Through the tip and tail allows the ski always to provide a constant level of speed across the wash and allows for a smooth, comfortable turn and drive through the wash while still having the ability to keep that speed into your leading edge easily.
  • Increased Rockerline - Mostly in the tip and tail, allows the DV8 to move from edge to edge with considerable ease.

Flex

  • Flex Rating(1=Soft, 10=Stiff) - 8/10
  • An altered flex pattern bucks the trend and makes the ski softer, working with the overall design of the ski to increase performance.

Core

  • PVC CNC'd Core - A tried and true core material, cut to utter perfection that has proved itself on the top end ski's for years, a high-quality material that is lighter and stiffer than its PU counterpart, creating greater feel and response in your ski.

Laminates

  • 90/10 Carbon/Fibreglass Split - A traditional carbon laminate blended with just a splash of fibreglass, engineered specifically so you get all that response and zip out of your ski while getting that little hint of flex when you need it, creating tight turns and fast line breaks across the wash. Not to mention it outlasts carbon. Yeah, science b#*@h

Shape

  • Increased Tip Width - helps to generate speed but gives you a more stable platform to initiate and pull through turns and have more control while doing so.
  • Variable Bevel - A sharper bevel through to the front binding of the ski that transitions to a round bevel in the tail allows the ski provides lift and speed in the nose across the wash while the tail offers suction for tight turns for the apex of your cut or around the buoy
  • C.A.P.T. (Connelly Advanced Profile Technology) - The original profiled construction, allowing skis to reduce weight and specifically tailor a flex pattern to various points in the ski

Concave

  • Full Edge-to-Edge Concave - a full concave throughout the whole width of the ski creates a fluid motion and greatly supports your cut, allowing you to focus solely on where you want to place the ski.
  • Speed V-Tech - V Tech built for speed, with curves in the v steps, creating increased water disruption in the centre of the runnel and less on the edges, meaning reduced drag and greater edge hold.
  • Wider Tunnel - A more stable profile that allows for a greater volume of water flow that also acts to displace more water and increase speed.

Other Features:

  • Versa Tail - The patent-pending feature that is the centrepiece of the DV8, an adjustable tail. This change in tail geometry allows you to change your ski based on your style.
    • VT Tail - The stock Connelly tail shape is designed to give a balanced tail depth across the wash and into turns
    • VS Tail - A square tail shape designed to add lift and support, as well as increase ski speed
    • VR Tail - The round tail shape allows the ski to sit deeper in the water into and through the turn, giving faster turning and fewer tail blowouts
    • VRS Tail - Allows the ski to ride deeper on left-side turns and have greater speed and tip pressure on right-side turns
    • VSR Tail -  Allows the ski to ride deeper on right-side turns and have greater speed and tip pressure on left-side turns
  • Hybrid Base - A polished tip and a micro-textured tail, blending and working together to provide speed across the wash and reduce turn resistance.
  • Viper 2.0 Fin System
  • Made in the USA cause, Merica'

            3. If returning a product in its box, please wrap the box to protect it prior to taping and avoid attaching shipping labels directly to the box. Failure to do so may incur a fee or a reduced value in your store credit.

            5. Once we receive the item via post we will contact you to confirm a change of product/size or organise a store credit.

You have up to 30 days from the date of purchase to process an exchange but the value of the exchange is based on the current price of the item not the original price paid.

            Please send your exchanges to:
            Skiforce Australia

            WARRANTY POLICY

Let’s face it, we all ride hard and the toys we play on are bound to take some abuse. Nearly all manufacturers understand this and provide a warranty against defects and workmanship. Each new product sold by Skiforce is covered by the individual manufacturer’s warranty. Please check the manufacturer’s website for information regarding their specific warranty policy. The manufacturer will make all warranty decisions. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. As an Australian Wake and Waterski Retailer we can only warranty products purchased from our store and website. Please have proof of purchase at Skiforce available when dealing with any warranties.

            STEPS FOR PROCESSING WARRANTIES

Step 1. Determine whether the damage should be covered by warranty. Here are a few things that are NOT covered by warranty:

            • Normal wear resulting from standard usage that occurs over time. (chipped topsheet, sun faded topsheet, etc)
            • Damage resulting from contact with objects. (Rails, kickers, logs, stumps, little kids, skiers, etc.)
            • Damage to product resulting from improper care or unnecessary roughness. (throwing it around on the bank, product flying off of board racks, etc)
            • Parts, hardware, accessories that were lost or have gone missing AFTER receiving your shipment.

Step 2. Email us about your warranty and include CLEAR and detailed pictures explaining the problem. Blurry pictures will not be accepted.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give us a call. We want to see you back out on your product as much as you want to use it and try to get you a response within 48 hours of receiving the product.

Step 3. We will contact you with further instruction.

The next step varies by manufacturer and we will provide you with all the details for the next step. If your warranty claim is accepted you will have to ship your product back to us so that we can confirm the warranty with the manufacturer. Return shipping on warranty claims is the responsibility of the buyer. The manufacturer or Skiforce will cover shipping charges on all items replaced or repaired under warranty.

Let us know if you are in a rush and would like to pay extra for express shipping on your warranty return.
