When it comes to pushing the envelope and finding new ways to innovate on old technologies within waterskiing, Radar have pushed themselves to the forefront. From constantly changing their ski line and updating shapes to the Revamped Vapor boot that is both setup as a fixed boot, and Reflex quick release compatible, there is no shortage of ideas from the Radar think tank.
This is no more true than within the entire boot line for 2025, with an update to their signature Feather Frame chassis that was developed way back in 2006 to create a lighter more effective ski boot.
This all new Feather Frame 2.0 works to create a modular frame that can easily have the plate interchanged from front to rear plate, giving you the customisation over time as your skiing evolves and adapts. Simply unscrew the holding bolts toe free the chassis from the upper and slip in your preferred baseplate and reassemble.
Another big change that comes with the new 2.0 version is cross compatability. For years trying to get boots, particularly rear toe plates has been a nightmare, with plate holes never quite lining up. For Radar this is now a thing of the past, with the new chassis being cross compatible with other brands for the ultimate convenience.
And it also goes without saying that comfort and fit remained front of mind during this redevelopment, as Radar have continually focused on making sure their boots cover all key aspects of a customers experience on the water, with a supported outer housing giving you structure around your ankle and lower leg and the soft EVA footbed giving you the plush feel you are used to from your Radar boot.
Who knew that the ski boot had so far to go?
But here's the proof progression never ends, the ski boot redefined.
