If you walked into most shops last year in Australia, you might have thought O'Brien had shut up shop. This couldn't be farther from the case. So what happened? Are they in purgatory, have they been sin-binned, did the Hulk pulverise them? No, No and don't be ridiculous. O'Brien have gone through wakeboardings incarnation of a rebuild, and much like the Melbourne Demons (or the Cleveland Browns for our American friends) this rebuilds had more left turns than right. Starting with a competition presence that has lacked apart from Cory Tuenissen, there hasn't been much brand exposure (as a write this, it turns out they were a top tier sponsor of the US Masters and had a boat wrap on the Slalom Ski Nautique, so that happened)
